CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 302-280 BC. Diobol (Silver, 12 mm, 1.22 g, 3 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet adorned with Skylla hurling a stone. Rev. Herakles kneeling right, wrestling the Nemean lion; above, Α; to left, herm. HN Italy 976. Vlasto 1315. Struck from somewhat worn dies on a short flan, otherwise, very fine.
