CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 315-302 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 21 mm, 7.58 g, 12 h), Dai... and Phi..., magistrates. Nude, helmeted rider on horse galloping to right, stabbing with spear held in his right hand and holding two other spears and shield in his left; below, ΔAI. Rev. ΤΑΡΑΣ Fischer-Bossert 1032 (V393/R797). HN Italy 935. Fischer-Bossert 992 (V385/R763). HN Italy 935. Harshly cleaned and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
