Description

BRITAIN. Belgae. Uninscribed, circa 65-40 BC. Stater (Electrum, 16 mm, 6.08 g, 12 h), 'Chute' type. Devolved and disjointed laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. Stylized horse to left; below, stylized crab. ABC 746. Flesche 3 ( this coin ). Van Arsdell 1205-9. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, good very fine.
