SWITZERLAND. Basel, Stadt. Medal (Silver, 19x19 mm, 3.50 g, 12 h), Klippe, by Friedrich Fecher, circa 1640. Basilisk standing left, head to right, resting its right leg on coat of arms. Rev. Christ, nimbate, standing facing, raising his right hand in benediction and holding globus cruciger in his left. SM 1186. Very rare. Light marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
