ISLAMIC, Seljuks. Western Iran. Malikshah III ibn Mahmud, AH 547-548 / AD 1152-1153. Dinar (Gold, 27 mm, 3.69 g, 5 h), citing the Great Seljuq Sanjar and the Abbasid caliph al-Muqtafi li-amr Allah, Askar Mukram, AH 548 = AD 1153. Album 1691M. An extremely rare ruler. Struck from worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
