ISLAMIC, Persia (Pre-Seljuq). Ghaznavids. Yamin al-Dawla Abu'l-Qasim Mahmud, AH 388-421 / AD 998-1030. Dinar (Gold, 23 mm, 3.10 g, 8 h), Nishapur, AH 419 = AD 1028/9. Album 1606. An attractive example of a late issue of Mahmud. Some doubling and with light areas of weakness, otherwise, about extremely fine.
