ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Uncertain period, temp. al-Saffah to al-Amin. AH 132-199 = AD 749-813. Fals (Bronze, 21 mm, 2.15 g, 11 h), uncertain mint. First part of Kalima within pelleted border; in outer margin, legend; all in Kufic. Rev. Continuation of Kalima in the inner field; in outer margin, legend; all in Kufic. Album -. Apparently unpublished. Pierced and with heavy traces of overstriking, otherwise, about very fine.
