Description

Crispus, Caesar, 316-326. Follis (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.43 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 320. CRI-SPVS NOB CAES Laureate,draped and cuirassed bust of Crispus to left, seen from behind, holding spear in his right hand and shield in his left. Rev. VIRTV-S AVGG / P - R / R T Campgate with no doors and four turrets. RIC -. Very rare. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die and somewhat smoothed, otherwise, good very fine.
