Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Silvered bronze, 19 mm, 3.23 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 320. CONST-ANTINVS AVG Laureate, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right, the helmet decorated with two stars. Rev. VIRTV-S AVGG / P - R / R S Campgate with closed doors and three turrets. RIC 176. An interesting piece with an unusual portal around the doors on the reverse. Slightly rough and with minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
