Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.19 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 320. CONST-ANTINVS AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right, the helmet decorated with two stars. Rev. ROMAE A-ETERNAE / P - R / R T Roma seated right, inscribing with her right hand shield set on her left knee with X/V in two lines; at her side, shield. RIC 148. A clear and well struck example with an interesting military bust. Minor flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
