★ Well struck on a broad flan ★

Octavian, 44-27 BC. Denarius (Silver, 21 mm, 3.97 g, 3 h), uncertain mint in Italy, 37 BC. IMP CAESAR DIVI•F•III VIR•ITER•R•P•C Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. COS ITER•ET•TER•DESIG Simpulum, sprinkler, jug and lituus. Babelon (Julia) 140. Crawford 538/1. RBW 1826. Sydenham 1334. Well struck on a broad flan. Light marks and with a banker's mark on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
