Brutus, † 42 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.73 g, 12 h), military mint travelling with Brutus and Cassius in Western Asia Minor or Northern Greece, 43-42 BC. COSTA – LEG Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. [BRV]TVS – IMP Trophy. Babelon (Junia) 8 and (Pedania) 2. Crawford 506/2. RBW 1778. Sydenham 1296. A beautiful example. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
