Description

Anonymous, circa 211-210 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 14 mm, 2.00 g, 9 h), uncertain mint in southeast Italy. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet and pendant earring; behind, V (mark of value). Rev. ROMA (in linear frame) The Dioscuri, each holding spear, on horseback galloping right; above their heads, two stars; to lower right, spearhead. Crawford 83/3. RBW 339. Sydenham 153. Corroded and with scrapes, otherwise, good fine.
