★ Very rare and arguably the finest known ★

PAMPHYLIA. Aspendus. Trajan Decius, 249-251. Tetrassarion (Bronze, 31 mm, 10.83 g, 12 h). ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹ Γ ΜЄϹϹ ΚΥ ΤΡΑΙΑΝ ΔЄΚΙΟϹ ϹЄΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trajan Decius to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΑϹΠЄΝΔΙΩΝ - ϹЄ/ΜΝΗϹ / ЄΝΤЄΙ/ΜΟΥ within wreath. RPC IX 1051. Very rare and arguably the finest known. Very fine.

The reverse legend 'ϹЄΜΝΗϹ ЄΝΤЄΙΜΟΥ' translates as 'illustrious and honored [city]', two epithets that are only attested for Aspendos.
