HUNNIC TRIBES, Alchon Huns. Uncertain king, mid-late 5th century. Drachm (Silver, 26 mm, 3.30 g), anonymous eastern Alkhan issue, perhaps Toramana (circa 490-515). Bust of King with elongated skull to right, wearing earring and diadem surmounted by crescent; behind, flywhisk; before, trident. Rev. Traces of a fire altar. Göbl 139. Vondrovec, Type 139. Extremely rare. Two edge cracks and with some scratches, otherwise, very fine.
