Description
INDIA, Post-Mauryan (Punjab). Taxila (local coinage). Circa 2nd century BC. AE (Bronze, 24 mm, 6.14 g, 12 h), Taxila city state (Pushkalavati). Elephant to right; above, three-arched hill. Rev. Lion standing left; above, swastika; to left, three-arched hill surmounted by crescent. HGC 12, 772. About very fine.
