Description

KINGS OF PERSIS. Uncertain king, 2nd century BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.82 g, 12 h), Istakhr (Persepolis). Male head to right, wearing diadem and kyrbasia surmounted by eagle. Rev. Fire temple with Ahura-Mazda above; to left, king standing right; to right, standard surmounted by eagle. Alram 553. Klose & Müseler 3/7. Van't Haaff Type 553. Good very fine.
