LESBOS. Mytilene. Circa 377-326 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 9 mm, 2.54 g, 3 h). Head of Apollo Karneios to right, wearing horn of Ammon over his ear. Rev. Eagle standing right, his head turned back to left, within linear square within incuse square. Bodenstedt 104. HGC 6. 1030. SNG Copenhagen 316. SNG von Aulock 1727. A lovely and well centered piece. Minor edge crack and light scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
