PONTOS. Pharnakeia. Circa 95-90 BC. AE (Orichalcum, 20 mm, 9.52 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦAPNAKE[IAΣ] Eagle standing left on thunderbolt, head turned back to right; to left, monogram. HGC 7, 297. SNG BM Black Sea 1276. Struck on a somewhat worn flan as usual, otherwise, extremely fine.
