KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Stater (Gold, 17 mm, 8.59 g, 12 h), Amphipolis, circa 340/36-328. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY Charioteer driving biga to right, holding reins in his left hand and goad in his right; below the horses, crescent right. Le Rider 104 (D47/R79). SNG ANS. A clear and perfectly centered example of very attractive style. About extremely fine.
