LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 510-470 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 8.13 g). ΜΕΤ Ear of barley with seven grains; to right, lizard. Rev. Ear of barley with seven grains, all incuse; rayed border. HN Italy 1483. Noe Class X, 216 ( same dies ). Nicely toned and with a lovely symbol. Somewhat rough and with light pitting, otherwise, good very fine.
