CAMPANIA. Neapolis. Circa 320-300 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 19 mm, 7.42 g, 6 h). Diademed head of a nymph to right, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; to left, grape bunch. Rev. [N]EΟΠΟΛITΩ[N] Man-headed bull walking right, head facing; above, Nike flying right to crown the bull; below, monogram. HN Italy 571. Sambon 439. SNG Paris 696. Light marks and scratches, otherwise, very fine.
