★ An unusually well centered quinarius from the Aedui ★
CENTRAL GAUL. Aedui. Circa 80-50 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 14 mm, 1.91 g, 9 h). Helmeted head of Roma to left; behind, cross-shaped ornament. Rev. Celticized horse galloping left; above and below, annulets. DT -, cf. 3188 (four pellets not cross behind Roma). An unusually well centered example. Extremely fine.
