SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 14.08 g, 12 h), CY 28 and COS XII = 4/3 BC. ΚΑΙΣΑΡΟΣ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΥ Laureate head of Augustus to right. Rev. ΕΤΟΥΣ HK ΝΙΚΗΣ / IB Tyche seated right on rocks, holding palm frond in her right hand; below, half-length figure of river god Orontes swimming right; in field above, two monograms. McAlee 182. Prieur 52. RPC I 4153. Flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, fine.
