Description

Heraclius, with Heraclius Constantine and Heraclonas, 610-641. Solidus (Gold, 19 mm, 4.38 g, 7 h), Constantinopolis, indictional year IA (11) = 637/638. Heraclius, Heraclius Constantine and Heraclonas, wearing crowns with crosses, standing facing, all holding globus crucigers in their right hands. Rev. VICTORIA AVGЧ B / CONOB Cross potent on base and three steps; to left, Heraclian monogram; to right, monogram of A. DOC 39 (unlisted officina). MIB 45. SB 764. Slightly clipped and with light traces of mounting , otherwise, good very fine.

From an old Swiss collection, formed in the early to mid 20th century.
