★ Very rare and in exceptional condition for the issue ★

GEORGIA. Kingdom. Georgi IV Lasha, 1208-1223. AE (Bronze, 35 mm, 19.42 g, 6 h), dated 430 in Georgian years, counted using the Paschal cycle = AD 1210. 'Giorgi, son of T'amar' (in Georgian) within design of six knots; in outer margin, 'In the name of God, this coin was struck in the year 430 of the koronikon' (in Georgian); to right, countermark. Rev. 'The king of kings, Glory of the world and faith, Giorgi, son of Tamar, sword of Messiah' (in Arabic); in outer margin, 'In the name of God most pure, this coin was struck in the year 430 (in Pahlawi). Bennett 179. Very rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. Good very fine.
