Fals (Bronze, 22 mm, 3.00 g, 6 h), citing Malikshah I as 'Abu'l-Fath' and the heir apparent Da'ud ibn Mahmud, probably Dabil in Armenia. A. Akopyan: Dvin in the eleventh and twelth centuries. City history in the light of new numismatic materials, pl. III, 15. Extremely rare. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
This enigmatic coin is connected to the presence of the Great Seljuks in Armenia. A proposed reading of the obverse reads: 'Arslan Tegin' (in Arabic).
