Salih and his appointee 'Abd al-Karim, Khunasir, circa AH 170 = AD 786/7. Album A290. A very rare mint. Minor deposits and with minor areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.

The mint in Khunasir operated only for a very brief period of time. Perhaps it was felt that there was no real need for a mint so close to the important city of Hims.
