ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Al-Musta'in, AH 248-252 / AD 862-866. Dinar (Gold, 20 mm, 4.13 g, 7 h), citing the caliph al-Musta'in billah, al-Muhammadiya, AH 248 = AD 862/863. Bernardi 160Mh. Extremely rare, Bernardi records a single example. The flan bent and straightened and with a few minor scratches, otherwise, very fine.
