ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. temp. Al-Ma'mun, AH 193-218 / AD 809-833. Dirham (Silver, 26 mm, 2.92 g, 9 h), citing al-Mashriq ('the East' in Kufic) and Dhu'l Riyasatayn ('holder of the two ministries') al-Fadl, the vizier of the caliph al-Ma'mun, Nishapur, AH 202 = AD 817/8. SICA III, -. A rare date for Nishapur. A few light scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
