IC - XC Christ, nimbate, seated facing on square-backed throne, wearing tunic and pallium, raising his right hand in benediction and holding book of Gospels in his left. Rev. + AΛЄΙΙⲰ ΔЄCΠΟΤ, ΤⲰ Bust of Alexius I facing, wearing chlamys and crown with pendilia, holding scepter surmounted by pelleted star in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left. DOC 2b. SB 1893. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die and with some scratches, otherwise, very fine.
