Eugenius, 392-394. Siliqua (Silver, 16 mm, 1.53 g, 6 h), Treveri. D N EVGENI-VS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Eugenius to right. Rev. VIRTVS RO-MANORVM / TRPS Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory on globe in her right hand and inverted spear in her left. RIC 106d. RSC 14†a. Nicely toned. Struck from somewhat worn dies and with some edge filing, otherwise, very fine.

From the collection of Dr. D. Löer, formed since the 1970s, privately acquired from Frank S. Robinson (with original dealer's ticket).
