Divus Romulus, died 309. 1/4 Follis (Bronze, 16 mm, 2.00 g, 6 h), circa 310-311. DIVO ROMVLO N V BIS CONS Bare head of Divus Romulus to right. Rev. AETERNAE MEMORIAE / R S Doomed shrine with open door surmounted by eagle standing front, wings spread and head to left, holding wreath in beak. Drost 129. RIC 239. An attractive piece with an exceptionally detailed reverse. Some minor deposits, otherwise, about extremely fine.
