Carausius, Romano-British Emperor, 286-293. Antoninianus (Bronze, 23 mm, 3.50 g, 7 h), 'C' mint (Camulodunum?), 287-289. IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius to right. Rev. APOLLINI CO A[VG] / MSC Griffin advancing left. Cohen 18. H. -. RIC 193. Webb 238. Very rare. Some deposits, otherwise, very fine.
