Lucius Verus, 161-169. Aureus (Gold, 20 mm, 7.21 g, 12 h), Rome, 166. L VERVS AVG ARM PARTH MAX Laureate and cuirassed bust of Lucius Verus to right, seen from behind. Rev. TR P VI IMP IIII COS II Victory standing front, head to right, holding palm branch in her right hand and placing shield inscribed VIC / PAR on palm tree with her left. BMC 430 note. Calicó 2190a. Cohen 278. MIR 141-12/35. RIC 564. Scrape on the obverse and with minor scratches on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.

From the collection of Regierungsrat Dr. iur. Hans Krähenbühl, Leu 8, 23 October 2021, 311, privately acquired from Bank Leu on 2 July 1968, and from the collection of Kommerzienrat H. Otto, Hess 207, 1 December 1931, 1170.
