Elagabalus, 218-222. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.53 g, 6 h), Rome, 220-221. IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG Laureate head of Elagabalus to right. Rev. ABVNDANTIA AVG Abundantia standing front, head to left, emptying cornucopiae held with both hands; in field to right, eight-pointed star. BMC 192. Cohen 1. RIC 56. Thirion 236. Sharply struck and attractive. Minor deposits on the obverse, otherwise, virtually as struck.
