PHRYGIA. Midaeum. Caracalla, 198-217. Triassarion (Orichalcum, 27 mm, 13.52 g, 6 h), 211-217. ANTΩNINOC AYΓOYCTOC Laureate head of Augustus to right. Rev. MIΔAEΩN Midas standing front, head to left, holding pine cone in his right hand and scepter in his left. BMC 11-12 = von Aulock, Phrygien II, 780-781. Extremely rare. Struck somewhat off center, otherwise, good very fine.
