KW'T PZWNY ('Kavadh, may he increase' in Pahlawi) Draped bust of Kavadh I to right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent and korymbos set on crescent. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants; in upper field to left, five-pointed star; in upper field to right, crescent; in field to right, KL (name of the mint in Pahlawi); in field to left, date. SSCT -. A well struck example with a bold portrait. Light scratches, otherwise, extremely fine.
