Description
SASANIAN KINGS. Bahram IV, 388-399. Pashiz (Bronze, 17 mm, 2.36 g, 3 h). Draped bust of Bahram IV, to right, wearing winged mural crown with korymbos; before bust, tamgha. Rev. Fire altar with diadems. Cf. SNS III, pl. 44, 85 var. (differing symbol before bust). Extremely rare. Minor edge crack and with light deposits, otherwise, good fine.
