INDO-SKYTHIANS, Northern Satraps. Rajuvula, circa 25-15 BC. AE (Lead, 18 mm, 7.84 g, 12 h), uncertain mint in Jammu-Akhnoor. Lion to right; above, palm. Rev. 'Mahachatrapasa Apratihachakrasan Rujuvulasa' (of Great Satrap Rajuvula of the Invincible Chakra' in Kharoshthi) Herakles standing front, head to left, holding club and lion's skin in his left hand and raising his right hand in salute; in field to left, swastika above 'Ra'; in field to left and right, Kharoshthi letter. HGC 12, 736. Senior 153. Rare. About very fine.
