CARIA. Kaunos. Circa 470-450 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 11.60 g, 8 h). Winged female figure in kneeling-running stance left, head to right, holding kerykeion in her right hand and wreath in her left. Rev. Baitylos with 'handles' at apex; granulated patterns resembling on either side; above, 𐊼; all within incuse square. HN online 216. Konuk 85 ff. SNG Keckman 824. Slightly porous and with minor scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
