CARIA. Antioch ad Maeandrum. Circa 90/89-65/60 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 15.92 g, 1 h), Meleagros, magistrate. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΜΕ/ΛΕΑ/ΓΡΟΣ - AN/TI/OXE/ΩN Eagle, with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt; all within maeander pattern border. Thonemann Group B, 7 ( unlisted dies ). Extremely rare. Some deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
