Description
KINGS OF PAEONIA. Patraos, circa 335-315 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 12.77 g, 9 h), Astibos or Damastion. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΠΑΤΡ[ΑΟΥ] Paeonian horseman, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping right and spearing fallen enemy; to lower left, boukranion. Paeonian Hoard 330 ( same dies ). Peykov E2190. Very fine.
