LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 400-350 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 7.80 g, 7 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned, on the bowl, with Skylla scanning. Rev. [ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ] Bull butting right; in exergue, fish to right. HN Italy 1799. SNG ANS 996-9. Nicely toned. Struck on a somewhat short flan, otherwise, very fine.
