LUCANIA. Sybaris. Circa 550-510 BC. Stater (Silver, 27 mm, 7.03 g, 12 h). VΜ Bull standing to left on dotted ground line, head turned back to right; all within border of dots. Rev. Bull standing right on dotted ground line, his head turned back to left; all within rayed border. Gorini 2. HN Italy 1729. Harshly cleaned, otherwise, very fine.

From the collection of Dr. D. Löer, formed since the 1970s, privately acquired from Frank S. Robinson and previously privately acquired from Pegasi.
