Brutus, † 42 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.57 g, 3 h), mint moving with Brutus in Lycia, spring-early summer 42 BC. LEIBERTAS Head of Libertas to right. Rev. CAEPIO•BRV[TVS•PRO•COS] Lyre between quiver and laurel branch tied with fillet. Babelon (Junia) 34. Crawford 501/1. RBW 1767. Sydenham 1287. Minor marks and the reverse struck off center and with some corrosion, otherwise, good fine.

From an American collection of Roman Republican and Imperatorial coins, ex Rauch 70, 14 November 2002, 377 (with collector's and original auction tickets).
