T. Quinctius Flamininus, 126 BC. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.92 g, 3 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet, pendant earring and pearl necklace; behind, apex; before, mark of value. Rev. T-Q / ROMA The Dioscuri, each holding spear, on horseback galloping right; below horses, Macedonian shield. Babelon (Quinctia) 2. Crawford 267/1. RBW 1078. Sydenham 505. Beautifully toned and sharp. Nearly extremely fine.
