Q. Philippus, 129 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.78 g, 11 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet, pendant earring and pearl necklace; below chin, star (mark of value). Rev. Q•PILIPVS / ROMA Horseman galloping to right, wearing crested helmet, holding spear in his right hand; in field to left, helmet with goat's horns. Babelon (Marcia) 11. Crawford 259/1. RBW 1054. Sydenham 477. Good very fine.
