Anonymous, circa 206-195 BC. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 4.00 g, 3 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing crested and winged helmet; behind, X (mark of value). Rev. ROMA (in partial linear frame) The Dioscuri, each holding spear, on horseback galloping right; above their heads, two stars; below, star of eight rays. Crawford 113/1. RBW 516. Sydenham 263. Lightly toned. Minor marks, otherwise, nearly very fine.

From an American collection of Roman Republican and Imperatorial coins, ex Hirsch 279, 8 February 2012, 2020 (with original ticket) and Lanz 38, 24 November 1986, 467 .
