★ Attractive iridescent toning ★

Anonymous, circa 211-208 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.84 g, 9 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged and crested helmet; behind, X (mark of value). Rev. ROMA (in partial linear frame) The Dioscuri, each holding spear, on horseback galloping right; above their heads, two stars. Crawford 53/2. RBW 194. Sydenham 229. Attractive iridescent toning. Very fine.

From an American collection of Roman Republican and Imperatorial coins, privately acquired from Coincraft (with collector's and original dealer's tickets).
